Herzog Ludwig von Greifswelde

The duke (Herzog) is the ruler of *Oberwald - one of the more important Tungrisch lands that make up the Ewigreich. His summer residence is located at *Schloss Feeklause, just outside Greifstadt, his capital.
The duke is counted as one of the more successful rulers in the wake of the Totentanz, as his own domain suffered limited devastation compared to those of his neighbors.
The duke's family is counted as the mainstay of the Imperial party, which generally supports the Kaiser against the Hierophant. They are also famed as breeders of gryphons (upon which their power rests).
Ludwig is (was) the overlord of Martin von Horst and Ferdinand von Horst.
