Thank you to my brother who had a vision for the Scarlet Star that I couldn't have foreseen myself, they are a better-written empire and threat to the galaxy for it.

The Scarlet Star is a central government, a trainer of armies and, most importantly, a religious order seeking to spread their wisdom and insights to the furthest corners of the galaxy.

Currently the Scarlet Star is at war with the Rooto Faction and the Green Dragon Empire. They fully intend to spread their influence beyond the borders of the Nesho Cluster eventually but for now, all powers outside it are beyond their means and inclination to deal with.

Mythology & Lore

In the Age of Empty Skys, there was chaos on the planet Geyu. Having been knocked back down to the stone age by the Great Architect they had to rediscover the tools of civilization again. Many did not take to this change well, and their descendants regressed into a feudal system with kings vying for control of all the ground they could set troops on.

Then, a mysterious figure appeared on the field of battle between two warring kings whose names are lost to time. He invited the kings to meet with him in a tent to share sage wisdom. When they left they proclaimed the war between their two kingdoms over and that they would work together to build a domicile for the Red Prophet.
