Dragonborn

Dragonborn are draconic humanoids born from the love of a dragon and a mortal. Dragonborn are very rare. Both feared and admired, but kept apart from mortal kin by their elemental core. They may feel more at peace among draconids and reptiles.

A Dragonborn is created when a dragon falls in love with a mortal and teaches them the ancient way of draconic shaping. They are sculpted from the substance of the world, empowered with an elemental core. But their mortal parent grants them a mortal form and soul.

Using their elemental core a Dragonborn can breathe the element inside them.

Being shaped they can possess the myriad varied forms of their Draconic ancestors. Whilst always reptillian and humanoid, Dragonborn look like carved statues and their parents can sculpt them in many different styles. It's even been known for there to be Dragonborn with multiple sets of legs or arms.
