The Flower Drop Cantina
Apartments in the city of Gardinya Lyra are small, with none of them having a full kitchen of their own, and only the richest of the rich in the Butterfly Garden Neighborhood District having space to put in more than a fridge and hotplate. So communal kitchens and cantinas are subsidized by taxes and can be found all over.
The Flower Drop Cantina is a large communal cafeteria in the middle of the University District, right between the craftsman's quarters and the science classroom. It was built to serve both the university and the hospital, but because of its large selection of gourmet food(thanks to the culinary school students working there), a warm and jovial atmosphere, super convenient location, and quite frankly, how cheap the food prices were, it was frequented by people citywide. This cantina contains 12 different food stall, each selling food from a different fae or human province. The walls are covered in large windows that make the place bright and airy. Large, illuminated bronze sculptures of falling flowers hang from the ceiling as lights. It seems like there is an endless amount of seating, with tables tucked everywhere imaginable, and even plenty of outdoor seating on a patio and lawn, so that whenever one goes there, it never feels like the place is not for them.
