Stolitz Bridge

The Stolitz Bridge was commissioned to be built over the Great TurkisBlau River, connecting Seven Flowers Island to the ParaPoppy Peninsula, by Adrew Stoliz in 1922.  Adrew Stoliz was the head foreman of the Rainbow Starlight Energy Plant (from its opening in 1920 until he was forced to retire in 2028) and the second son of the prominent Stoliz family of the Northern Pine Ranch District.  Two years into his job as foreman, Stoliz had finally had it with his long walk to and from work.  His wife Molli could not be convinced to move to Old Pastel Town, not that his family wouldn't threaten to disown him if he actually followed through on the threat to move him and his pregnant wife "to the slums".  Utterly exasperated, Stoliz interrupted the middle of a town council open session to insist that a bridge be built connecting Northern Pine Ranch to Nothern Old Pastel Town.  And since he was from such a prominent family, all the councilmembers knew Adrew, and they were all worried about his show of behavior.  It was quite a scandal when the motion for the bridge was passed without any arguments or complex plans being drawn up, whether or not it was the most important building project of the moment.  It was built because the Stoliz family said it had to be.     Once built, and it did go up pretty fast in relation to any other building project of the day (read into that what you will), the bridge cut 45 minutes off of Adrew's walk between home and work.  But it wasn't just a benefit to him.  It is a widely used bridge for anyone north of the city, bringing a lot more foot traffic to the once quiet Old Pastel Town Neighborhood.     The bridge is a steady pillar type, set over the water only high enough that small boats can navigate underneath it.  All larger vessels need to be directed to the other side of Seven Flowers Island where the distance between it and the next shoreline is much wider and deeper.  Not that much boat traffic goes much father than Gardinya Lyra anyways, with Goddess Falls being so close and all.
