Former mine foreman turned down on his luck drunk. One time respected member of the community his life hasnt been the same since the silver mines were closed in town and turned to drink. despite his desperation mcduff is a stubborn fool, refuses to move on to greener pastures or steal, instead doing what odd jobs he can find in town.
