As you work a ball of dough, you infuse it with the life-sustaining magic of the Vanir. Baking for one hour produces 4 pieces of Lembas bread. Together the 4 pieces weigh 1 lb and a creature can use its action to eat one. Eating a piece restores 1 hit point and provides enough nourishment to sustain a creature for one day.
The individual pieces do not lose their potency or spoil unless they are removed from their leaf-wrappings. Once they have been, they must be eaten within 24 hours or lose their effect.
