Giant Isopod

The Rootwell is home to several large arthropods.  The giant isopods of Mangal are massive, armored creatures.  They reach lengths of up to 10 feet and feed primarily on decaying plant material.  They pose very little direct threat to other creatures.  When cornered, they roll into even more heavily armored balls and hope the threat looses interest.   Bindlewise Goblins occasionally make use of Giant Isopods as draft animals.  They mostly are kept in the Rootwell, as they prefer to avoid bright light.
