Rueda
The Rueda are a race of armadillos located primarily in the Rodante Hills. They are noted most for their unqiue entertainment including both the arts and the sporting events. Some historians theorize that their artistic nature originated since they all look very similar. Early Rueda would paint their shells in elaborate patterns so they could tell each other apart. Their unique sports stem from their ability to form a ball and roll around.

Rueda
The Rueda can always be found leading the charge at the front. Their fearlessness and courageousness means that they are always moving forward and never looking back, whether in a battle, fine arts, or any other part of life.
race features:
Defense Curl: You can curl up into a ball as a reaction. Until you emerge, you gain a +5 bonus to AC, and you have advantage on Constitution saving throws. While in your shell, you are prone, your speed is 0 and can't increase, you have disadvantage on Dexterity saving throws, you can't take reactions, and the only action you can take is an action to uncurl and stand up. Roll Out: With enough momentum, your hard shell can be used as a deadly, natural weapon. You can roll yourself into a ball and launch yourself at a target as an unarmed strike. If you hit, you deal bludgeoning damage equal to 1d8 + your Strength modifier, instead of the bludgeoning damage normal for an unarmed strike. If you moved at least 20 feet straight toward a target and then hit them, the target must make a Strength saving throw (DC 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Strength modifier). If they fail, they are knocked prone. At the end of your attack, you choose if you stay rolled up. If you do, follow the rules to Defense Curl. Hard Shell: Your hard shell acts as a natural defense at all times. You use your Constitution modifier instead of your Dexterity modifier when determining your armor class. Digging: You do not need any tools to dig and you are proficient in all checks related to digging.
