The Old Gods

Centuries ago, the people worshiped the Old Gods, a collection of powerful deities with domain over certain parts of the world.
  • Berg’Fels: Chose dominion over stone, mountains, and fire.
  • Him’Hok: Chose dominion over the skies and storms.
  • Tief’Oz: Chose dominion over oceans and their depths.
  • Eben’Bau: Chose dominion over the people of the earth.
Each of these gods had their own desires and joys and were worshipped by people who lived under their influence. They each worked together to influence the world.   Over time, they all fell from the favor of the people. As their influence seemed to fade, people put their faith in other things, namely themselves. Eventually, all but the few forsook the old gods who are now remember mostly in history books and myths.   Besides, if there were no repercussions for forgetting the old gods, what’s to say they were real at all...
