Gilgamesh, King of the Sanctuary

The King of the Dragonborn is a direct descendant of Bahamut, the only known Platinum Dragon left alive and the closest humanity has to a physical divinity, next to Bahamut himself. Gilgamesh isn’t a true god, but the people of sanctuary hold him in an almost equal regard to Bahamut regardless. He wields the halberd Ea and armor of Enkidu.
In the ancient times, Bahamut's ageless Platinum dragons walked the earth together with him, and were his foremost lieutenants. After the tragic Dragon Wars, only Gilgamesh remained, his body infected and transformed into the very first Dragonborn. He retained his agelessness, and rules the Dragonborn from Sanctuary, a living piece of history and knowledge.
