Xatasha
(a.k.a. The Serpent Lady)
The mysterious dwarven warlock known as Xatasha is a fearsome, although perhaps misunderstood, member of the adventuring group known as The Serpents Six.
Xatasha originally hailed from the Dwarven citadel of Magmyrn on the island of Zunvyld. She spent many years of her youth sailing on merchant vessels that traded between Magmyrn and the human kingdoms of Arkhazia and Sanctyra. It was during this time that the vessel she was crewing foundered in a storm in the northern Sea of Tempests and Xatasha and a handful of crewmates washed ashore on a distant island. To their misfortune, the island was ruled by a large colony of Yuan-Ti. The Yuan-Ti enslaved the shipwrecked crew, forcing them to spend years in bondage at the mercy of their captors and the Serpent Gods they worshipped.
By some mysterious stroke of fortune, Xatasha was looked upon favorably by one of the Serpent Gods, and she slowly gained access to a number of special powers. These powers would help her escape years later, when a new group of castaways arrived on the island. Amongst their numbers was a human named Garrig, who formed an almost immediate attachment to Xatasha. Together, and with a number of Garrig's shipwrecked compatriots, they broke free of their slavers and were able to escape the island. Traveling together ever since, this group has taken the name of The Serpents Six.
Physical Description
Facial Features
Xatasha's appearance is unsettling. Many of her teeth are sharpened, which gives her smile a dangerous feel. Her eyes are typically brown, but every so often are covered with a nictitating membrane that when pulled back reveals orange eyes with slitted pupils.
Apparel & Accessories
Xatasha often wears large, white feathered pauldrons with dark green leather armor beneath. Atop her head she often sports a crumpled top hat. She carries a cane with a colorful birds head as the handgrip.
