Omori
Omori (oh-MO-ree) is a yukisaru from the Cherished Slopes Clan. A kind but somewhat simple minded horse master, he bears the unfortunate burden of once having his mind controlled by the oni Aku no Kirai, who forced him to extinguish the sacred soul fire of the Cherished Slopes Clan, the Hua Linghun. As atonement for this act, he has agreed to accompany Shadow of Fire on her quest to restore the Hua Linghun and win back the ancestral home of their people.

Omori is quite adept at handling animals, specifically horses. He is also an amateur tea specialist and frequently collecting plants and herbs to concoct new brews.

Omori feels incredible guilt at having extinguished the Hua Linghun.
