Land of Gorthaur

Named for the ancient black dragon Gorthaur, this strange locale lays north of the Malatorian Northlands but differs greatly in climate from its southern neighbor. Geothermal activity has created a strange temperate pocket, with hot springs, geysers, cavern systems, vegetation and strange plant life.  Amidst these steaming hills, a colony of mixed goblinoid races has settled in, worshipping the dragon and doing him homage by skirmishing with the Northlanders to the south.

Culture

The goblinoid races have formed a confederate tribe, with a high priestess who serves as the chief intermediary between Gorthaur and the tribe.
