She is often depicted as a maiden dressed in white with an aura of peace and light surrounding her. She is also a protector of children and the wife of Hysterion. The White Hand on a tan background is the chief insignia of Ban-Daid and signals a haven to all those who are in need of healing as it marks the Houses of Healing that can be found all over the known world.
