Alexei Dagranova

Alexei is the central figure the Volinskian National Epic. When his tribe was decimated by Gneissian invaders, Alexei was taken prisoner as a small boy and made the steward of General Vettius Gallus.
Years later, Alexei would lead a rebellion against Gneiss and through the skill of arms and marrying Kira Volinskya help to unite The Seven Tribes of Volinsk. According to the legend, after he was captured by Gneissian forces, Alexei struck a deal with a dark entity, becoming a vampire. He used this new form to turn the collected Gneissian forces into vampire spawn that were obliterated in the first rays of the next morning. Thus his dark bargain freed the Volinskians forever from Gneissian invasion.
Soon thereafter Alexei was killed by his wife and with the action Kira Volinskya became the first Dread Sovereign of Volinsk.
