The Emperor
He stepped in and all the bicker fell quiet. A tall regal man in the finest clothes ever placed on a person walked forward to address the councilors. On his finger a ring of gold signifying his rank. A rank passed down by his ancestor's who looked at the world and decided to take it for their own. He was the emperor and his breath and gaze were the law. As he walked men bowed so did the great kings and queens he approached. As they had kneeled when his forefathers wrought them low with weapons greater than any before imagined. He was the emperor and some gods knelt to him.
