Makkah Spirit Binders
Magic users of Makkah
Each tribe and band has a fighting force of braves, but all the tribes in the Makkah Nation contribute warriors to join the binders, to train as advanced horseriders and learn the art of spirit binding. Their main duty is to fight the mountain tribe and protect against shifters and tricksters.
To join the spirit binders is to stay for life. They will not allow someone to learn spirit binding and become a threat to the grasslands or join the mountain people.
Structure
High Chieftain or Chieftess is the leader of the Spirit Binders
Public Agenda
Protect the grassland tribes from rogue binders, mountain tribe binders, and no-heartbeat creatures.
Assets
They're a self-reliant organization. They make their own tipis, hunt and forage their own food, make their own weapons, breed and care for their own horses.
History
The first spirit binder introduced binding to the world, but he did not create this organization. In a time that binders were feared and hunted down almost to extinction, one woman rallied the last spirit binders remaining and swore an oath to protect the grasslands. A treaty was made between the binders and the grassland tribes, so that binders were no longer hunted and binders no longer abused their power. Since that day the treaty has held and the Spirit Binders are highly honored and respected as the nation's protectors.
Territories
They roam all the grasslands of Rohon, sometimes intruding the western mountain range and northern Badlands.
