Structure

The emperor, chosen by the Siblings to rule over this world, has absolute power over the empire. It is customary for the emperor to name ministers to which powers over a specific sector will be delegated; in the end, all laws must go through the throne though.
The empire is divided into mašege, most of them covering an entire planet, lands under the administration of a noble named by the throne. These nobles are called mewišagu and have a lot of say in local organization, they collect taxes and manage the army in exchange of a tribute to the throne itself; should they displease the emperor, their title can be revokated freely.
Parallel to that, the imperial administration makes sure that everything goes as smoothly as planned. Some people say that the adminisration is the actual power in the empire, after all, they control all the funds and its members aren't named by imperial decree.
