Water in Constantine

Ten litres of fresh water per person per day are guaranteed to all tax payers in the city of Constantine, though in most places there is no water delivery system.
The water is drawn from either the river or the water table under the city and purified by ritual casters employed by the Crown.
The fresh water is available from cisterns located throughout the city and water carriers can be paid to deliver it to households for a small fee.
