Seth

The god worshipped by the ancient priest kings of Engle who ruled the land with an iron fist and, although the Stemians overthrew their former kings many centuries ago, the memory of their excesses and cruelty are still remembered with fear.
Seth is represented as a serpent and his worship is condemned by most Stemians.
To maintain their rule, the priest kings—all powerful sorcerers—created a race of snake/human hybrids: Snake People. It is believed these creatures were all killed along with their masters but occassionally one hears rumours that they still exist in remote corners of the land.
