Lion

The lion is a mythical beast of the Sorendenese culture, its ferociousness legendary and its powers varied and strange.
In the Sorendenese Empire, being made a Lion of the Empire is equivalent to being knighted, an honour generally only accorded to acts of bravery or great service to the empire.
The lion is also the heraldic symbol of the Rafael family, the royal line of Engle.
