A 'hand' of men
A term used in Sorendenese military circles for the smallest group of soldiers.
A hand has five members: 1 leader and four normal troops.
The leader of a hand is called a 'handleader' and the general term for a member of a hand is 'handsman'. A female hand member can also be referred to as 'handswoman'.
Members of a hand can also have specialist titles (e.g., 'magus'), which generally win out over the above general terms.
