Silver Bracers of Swordplay

The silver bracers of swordplay are not made of silver at all. They are a matched pair of leather bracers with silver filigree. The design of the filigree varies from set to set.

• Skill Assist, + 2 combat skill levels with fencing weapons

History

The first silver bracers were created in Durenor, at the behest of a swordsman who desired assistance in demonstrating swordplay. When his reliance on the gloves came into public knowledge, he was publicly shamed but the King approached him and solicited the creation of dozens of sets to gift to his officers.

Since then, those sets have been gifted, stolen, and otherwise entered into the public domain.
