Ring of the Elements, Fire

This ring is linked to the Elemental Plane of Fire. While wearing the ring, the wearer gains stature with beings from the Daziarn, especially from the Plane of Fire. It also helps protect the wearer from taking damage from fires.

But, once activated, it confers additional abilities. Activation of a ring of fire elemental command can be accomplished by slaying a being from the Plane of Fire, being struck by a burning effect, or some other experience that floods the item with energy from the Plane of Fire.

Mechanics & Inner Workings

One wearing a ring of air elemental command enjoys the following benefits:

• +4 to Pre when dealing with extraplanar entities
• +6 to Pre when dealing with entities from the Plane of Fire
• Native Protection, 50% energy damage reduction only versus fire

In addition, once fully activated, it confers the following abilities to the wearer:

• Native Protection, LS: intense heat / cold
• Burning Hands, 2d6 RKA, AOE cone, 2 charges
• Fireball, 8d6 EB, AOE sphere, 2 charges
• Start Fires, 1 pip RKA, no range, continuous
