Ring of the Elements, Air

This ring is linked to the Elemental Plane of Air. While wearing the ring, the wearer gains stature with beings from the Daziarn, especially from the Plane of Air. It also prevents the wearer from taking damage from falls.

But, once activated, it confers additional abilities. Activation of a ring of air elemental command can be accomplished by slaying a being from the Plane of Air, being struck by a shocking effect, or some other experience that floods the item with energy from the Plane of Air.

Mechanics & Inner Workings

One wearing a ring of air elemental command enjoys the following benefits:

• +4 to Pre when dealing with extraplanar entities
• +6 to Pre when dealing with entities from the Plane of Air
• Feather Fall, Gliding 5"

In addition, once fully activated, it confers the following abilities to the wearer:

• Native Protection, 50% energy damage reduction only versus lightning
• Native Movement, Flight 10", 1/2 endurance
• Hardened Air, Force Wall 15pd / 15ed, 1 continuing charge (5 minutes)
• Gust of Wind, Telekinesis 20 str, only to push away, 3 charges
