Kagonite Chain Mail

A Chain Mail set crafted from a black metallic mineral known as Kagonite. It is as light as wood, yet ten times harder than steel. The Darklords use an alloy of Kagonite in the manufacture of weapons used by their troops, and it is this alloy which gives the blades of their weapons their black appearance.

Kagonite Chain Mail is often worn by Darklands army officers when they go into battle.

History

Kagonite Chain Mail is forged in the smithies of the Darklands from Kagonite mined in the mountain ranges there. Some suits have been looted from dead Darklands soldiers, but many believe that the suits are cursed and lead to the death of their new owners.
