The Bar-Ethel Blade is a model of scimitar built in quantities during an ancient war against a necromancer in Vassagonia .  Over time, these blades have found their way into various hands and have journeyed across many lands.

History

In Vassagonia, in MS 4400 a master of Right Handed Magic arose in the Dry Main and attempted to overthrow the Zakhan. In response, the Zakhan raised an army and commissioned the creation of dozens of these blades to help bolster his armies.

Later, they were often used in the area around Oasis of the White Palm in The Burning Dead Conflict. Following that,many soldiers took tehm home or kept them as symbols of service in that conflict.
