Banedon is an incredibly skilled magical practitioner of Left Handed Magic . He is a senior guild member of the Magician's Guild of Toran .
Banedon was caught up in the Purge of the Kai , surviving an ambush by a Giak patrol only through the intervention of a young Lone Wolf . Since then he has functioned as an acting member of the Magician's Guild of Toran , travelled as a member of a few Adventuring Companies , and served as a captain of a Skyship staffed by Drodarin, or dwarf .
He has taken pains to secure magical potions to extend his lifespan, and maintain his appearance. As he enters his twilight years, he still appears as a man in his mid-forties. He and Lone Wolf are close, personal friends.
