History
All around Magna Testudo lightfoot halflings flock mainly to the cities and metropolises where they can easily find work as exterminators, chimney sweeps, and messengers. They might also find employment in other, less legal, lines of work as they are ideal pickpockets, spies, and burglars. Stout halflings are often at least partially nomadic and entire villages might live in great migratory caravans as traders, peddlers, gypsies, or circuses. The Tephor tribes in the south are rumored to have at least one family of halfling warriors who ride swift dogs into battle on raids against the Niani caravans and you can fit a whole village worth of stoutfolk into a single ship and still carry enough supplies and cargo to live well and make a profit as traders or ferrymen. Halflings also have their own communities around the world that are mainly collections of settled families living in separate villages of close proximity.
