Naming Traditions

Gnomes love names and can be expected to get one from virtually everyone in their immediate family. With outsiders they usually go with their birth name and family name for the sake of simplicity.

Each subspecies of gnome has it's own slightly different culture and weapons.

History

In the empire and other human nations rock gnomes love to live near dwarves and they also love the hustle and bustle of human cities; they form enclaves near dwarves in human cities and work as handymen, tinkers, engineers, jewelers, and appraisers. They are also often employed at mining and digging sites for their expertise in building tunnels. Forest gnomes prefer quieter places to live and prefer to be near nature, they are far less numerous than their cousins and in the empire mostly stay in the northern parts of Coritha and throughout the province of Jharekan. Outside of the societies of other races gnomes settle in forested hills and live underground communities with easy access to the surface.
