Growth Rate & Stages

Dragonborn are capable of walking within hours of birth and grow much faster than other races. They reach maturity at about 15 years of age and live about as long as humans, often dying of age in their 60's.

Naming Traditions

Dragonborn clan names are used as first names with their given name used second which can be confusing to outsiders when several dragonborn all share the name Futhtish. History

The dragonborn are a rare species on Magna Testudo let alone inside the empire. They are virtually unknown to all but those who have encountered them and lone dragonborn are often regarded as monstrous and treated with suspicion at best. As a warrior race some dragonborn find their way to the empire and seek employment as soldiers in a lord's retinue or in the emperor's legions but they rarely stay longer than a few years before heading back to their island in Estishia.
The dragonborn of Magna Testudo are of mysterious origins and mostly reside quietly on their single island nation in Estishia. They are devout followers of Bahamut and are most often encountered on military style expeditions where they hunt down chromatic dragons and slay them before clearing their nests and treasure hoards.
