Courtblade

The traditional weapon of the guards in High Elven courts known to them as the pandhyando or as the courtblade in common is a long two handed sword designed for the unique physicality of elvenkind. It's a delicate single edged weapon designed to provide the deadly cuts of a greatsword but weighs much less and relies on the finesse of its wielder as opposed to their brute force.

Significance

This is a cultural weapon for High Elves and counts as a martial weapon for them only. Characters from High Elf culture with martial weapon proficiency are trained to use this unique weapon. Anyone outside of High Elf Culture may only learn this weapon by taking the Weapon Master feat.
