Fire Whip

Fire Whip is one of the easiest and most common pyromantic spells.

Technique

To cast this spell a magic-user needs a small stick. It can be wooden, but in that case it should be covered in metal which wouldn't burn. When casting a magic-user holds the stick in their right hand (left if left-handed) and points it forwards. Than they say the incantation Flagellum Ignis and have to imagine a whip of fire in their mind's eye. Then a spark of fire appears on the tip of the stick and extends forward. The caster can move the whip by moving the stick.
