Mad Meon Universe

The universe in which The FanService diner and her crew resides, The Morpheusverse, is a parallel reality closely intertwined with what the psychologist Carl Jung dubbed The Collective Unconscious. It is a universe like ours but with some key differences. It is a universe where the forces of entropy and decay have been dialed back, allowing life to thrive in a more resilient state. Wounds heal faster and more completely. There are fewer diseases and cancer is nonexistent.   In this universe gravity is created by Stem-Matter , a valuable element found in planet and asteroid cores. It is what allows life-sustaining worlds to be smaller and more numerous than those in our universe. Harnessing it has provided the inhabitants of this universe with near limitless energy, anti-gravity technology and interstellar travel.   Linked to our collective unconscious, The Morpheusverse is a realm of myth and legend populated with peoples and creatures given form by our unconscious minds. And just as we know them, in our own vague way, they too have windows into our reality. @Myth-Gates are not only portals that allow short cuts across vast distances through space, they are mythological pins stuck into this realty by our films, our novels, our music, our video games. Every creative work shared by two or more people creates a myth gate in theirs. These gates broadcast their messages into The Morpheusverse where they are decoded, studied, enjoyed and/or critiqued by the people of the collective unconscious.   The Morpheusverse is a collection of worlds both familiar and alien, a realm of endless possibilities, of stories just waiting to be discovered.
