The Stormbolter is a rapid-firing light machine gun that comes with a considerable amount of ammunition that is chain fed from a pack worn on the operator's back. It takes 1 turn to set up it's bipod and man, but only requires a one man crew. The Stormbolter fires 3 rounds per attack, dealing 1d6 per round. The Stormbolter can be fired without being set up, but suffers from disadvantage when doing so. Once set up, the wielder may use the Burst Fire trait of the weapon. A weapon that has the burst fire property can make a normal single-target attack, or it can spray a 10-foot-cube area within normal range with shots. Each creature in the area must succeed on a DC 15 Dexterity saving throw, falling prone on a success or taking the weapon’s normal damage on a failure. This action uses ten pieces of ammunition. Creatures within 5ft of the 10-foot-cube must succeed a DC 15 wisdom saving throw or become Frightened by the attacker and are Suppressed. A suppressed target loses any prepared action they made on their turn and ducks behind the nearest available cover or falls prone, and may only use half their movement speed on their subsequent turn.
