Chud

Chud is a mid-years colony founded by a majority russian ethnicities, along with mongolian, kiwi, and maori people. It's a very wealthy colony, with lots of iron and other metals left in the upper levels of the crust from the planet's formation. Chud is currently undergoing a political upheaval, with the Golden Kingdom Freedom Party gaining more and more power from the people and planning to remove the planet from the United Commonwealth's authority.
Chud is covered in carbon rocks and few grasslands. The planet has one large sea, Kasspikoe, and several smaller crater lakes spread out around the middle latitudes. The planet is almost completely dead geologically. The rock that covers the planet are smooth, rolling, and very rarely craggy or mountainous. The few mountains that do exist are found in dry craters and are created by the wind.
