Tetzlmec

The Teztlmecs are the indigenous people of Teztica that live in the jungle near the Rainy Basin. It is believed that they are responsible for the ruins that indicate a great empire once existed there.

The Teztlmecs are halflings with dark, straight hair, dark, almond-shaped eyes, and copper-red skin. They typically eschew clothing aside from belts to carry tools and weapons, and unstead decorate their bodies with clay-based pigments, simple jewelry made of bones or shells, or ornate piercings in the nose or ears.
