Material Plane

The Material Plane is an infinite void occasionally dotted with worlds that support life. It is a plane of balance between the various elemental and energetic forces that define the rest of the Multiverse, defined both by its dynamic chaos and by its understandable order. Mortal life uses the Material Plane as their benchmark for normality, and planeswalkers frequently visit other planes of existence via the Material Plane.

In the current cosmological model, the Material plane is at the center of the Inner Planes, and exists in the same cosmic space as the Feywild and the Shadow Plane.
