gorilla
A gorilla is a ground-dwelling herbivorous ape primarily found in the equatorial jungles of Khaphtela, though they may be found anywhere from lower mountainous regions to the lowland swamps. They are social creatures, typically found in troops, and can be territorial, particularly the older males
Basic Information
Anatomy
Gorillas are heavily-built, with long, muscular arms, a broad chest, and opposable thumbs on both hands and feet. A gorilla's skull possesses a heavy brow ridge, powerful jaws, and a lower face that pushes outward into a shallow muzzle. Its eyeteeth are bluntly pointed, and its molars are large and flat.
Gorillas have black to brown skin, and are mostly covered in black hair except for the face, hands, and feet. Adult male gorillas develop a large patch of gray hair on the backs from shoulders to hips, hence the term silverback.
