Dragon

Dragons are reptilian creatures with innate magical abilities, and usually with large wings capable of flight. They are among the oldest races in Lyranthium, having helped shape much of the world since the Age of Scales, and even today their power and intelligence are more than a match for most threats.

Scholars use the term dragon to refer not only to true dragons but also to their distant cousins, creatures who share many traits with true dragons but are less powerful and less intelligent.
