Dolphins have a sleek, tapered body with an inflexible neck, a bulbous head, flippers, and a tail with horizontal flukes. They have small eyes on the sides of their heads, long snouts, and conical teeth. All dolphins also have a thick layer of blubber, which can protect them from the cold waters of the north as well as predators.
