Aerindir's Flute

A flute that belonged to one of the first elves, Aerindir, who is widely acknowledged as the first bard. Aerindir led the group of elves that left their isolation to join the humans that had recently come to Lyceia. The elves taught the humans how to survive in this unfamiliar world, as well as other skills and activities, such as cooking, carpentry, and music. This flute was used by Aerindir to teach the humans how to create music, and has survived over thousands of years due to a spell of preservation cast on it. When played by any species other than an elf, the flute does not function. But when an elf plays it, the notes for the first song written by Aerindir will appear in front of the user. The song tells of the elves connection to the elder gods, and how the new gods came to be, as well as the creation of the world and all living things.
