Princess Julietta XVIII of Ilnith

Princess Julietta XVIII of Ilnith is the presumed current sovereign ruler of the Princely State of Ilnith.

Biography

Little is known about Julietta XVIII. She was likely born in Ilnith as the daughter of the previous sovereign and their consort, and has since inherited the crown. Her only known interaction with the world beyond the Great Forest was during the Baxian Campaign near the end of the Zenith War, when the Kingdom of Grasynnia's armies under command of General Althea Dragonbane made an attempt to besiege and conquer the forest. Julietta XVIII then appeared at the treeline at the brink of dawn.
Soldiers present have described the princess as an eerily calm feikin woman with a peculiar accent, wearing luxurious clothing and having some regal ornamentation woven between the two large horns protruding diagonally upwards from her head. She claimed to not care about the ongoing wars, only warning the general against further attacks against the Great Forest, saying that this battle could not be won. Accounts vary from here: some claim that she threatened Dragonbane with "the full force of the forest's power", yet others maintain that such a threat was never uttered.
After this public exchange of words, the princess requested a personal parley, and the two women retreated into a military tent to speak alone. The contents of this meeting are known to none but the two, and Dragonbane has never disclosed any of it. Some fifteen minutes after entering, Julietta XVIII left the tent alone, walking straight towards the treeline and not addressing or responding to any of the soldiers in the camp. After Dragonbane addressed the troops to inform them of the halting of the campaign, the princess had already vanished again. She has not been seen or heard from since. It is commonly assumed she still reigns over Ilnith, though she may have been succeeded since.

Personality

According to those who were present, Julietta XVIII is calm, composed, regal, and elegant. Even in the face of a full opposing army, she stood unflinching and unafraid, leading many to assume she holds some combative or magical ability herself. She is presumed to have quite the persuasive skill, as she is but one of very few who have ever achieved the feat of getting Althea Dragonbane to change her mind and change course.

[1]: Since feikin mature around the age of 20, and Julietta XVIII was an adult at the meeting near the end of the Zenith War, she is at the very least 48, assuming she was exactly 20 at the meeting. It is however very likely that she is older, even considerably so, as feikin can easily reach 200 years of age, and only begin visibly aging by around 145. Furthermore, feikin culture tends to put a lot of emphasis on venerating elders, therefore, a young sovereign would likely struggle to command the presence Julietta XVIII displayed.
