The Nation-State of Lyyng'hara
Lyyng'hara was originally a unified collection of free cities that also included the Grand City of Kathroku across the desert, with Kathroku as the seat of governance over the continent. As rulers cycled through power in Kathroku , the other cities in West Hara began to grow weary of being reliant on the whims of the Kath rulers and centralized power to themselves.
Once the relation between Kathroku and the west dissolved in the Nine Years' War, the free cities became a collection of fully independent city-states. After several decades of withstanding raids from pirate organizations as well as those from Kathroku tribesmen, the free cities united in the Nation-State of Lyyng'hara.
Today, the State functions as a means to keep peace and ease the flow of trading between the cities while opening the doors to outside trade and cooperation. Lyyng'hara is a prosperous nation, with the capital city of Hasdria serving also as the main trade hub of West Hara. Relations are friendly between the State and its trade partners, finding value in each others' cooperation. Tensions with Kathroku remain elevated, with occasional raids from Kath tribesmen entering Lyyng'haran territory. However, the new leadership in Lyyng'hara has expressed very recent interest in warming relations with the old sister city.
The State is ruled by the autocratic power held by the Council of Seven, located in the Haradu Palace in Hasdria. The Council of Seven is comprised of a select group of the nation's Trenarchs, the regional governors. These dignitaries are selected to join the Council in a caucus of all the nations Trenarchs in Hasdria when one of the Council passes or retires. Once selected to the Council, the governor relinquishes their regional responsibilities and joins the Council in Hasdria, retaining the title of Trenarch. The seniormost member of the Council is revered as the High Trenarch and is responsible for calling for meetings of the Council. The current members of the Council of Seven are as followsHigh Trenarch Niyazi Mirza
Trenarch Tayyar Sajjadi

Trenarch Zayin el-Faqir
Trenarch Farhat Sayyid
Trenarch Khajir Abbasi
Trenarch Mazhar al-Sylla
