Yuan-Ti Pureblood

Description

Within Thuria, they say Stygian Priests, devotees of Set, and The Black Circle are responsible for the Yuan-ti Purebloods. They were taught profane, cannibalistic rituals to mix their flesh with that of snakes, producing a caste-based society of hybrids in which the most snakelike are the leaders and the most human-like are spies and agents within Stygia, Shem, and other Nations of Thuria. Yuan-ti Pureblood women are far more common than their male counterparts. The women are viewed as superior, while men are in a subservient position. Despite being thoroughly wicked, the majority of purebloods have magnetic personalities. Like all Yuan-ti, they tended to be arrogant and self-centered. Most Yuan-ti Purebloods originate from Stygia and Shem. They are considered the Sons and Daughters of Set.

When creating a Yuan Ti, their alignment falls within Lawful Neutral to Chaotic Evil. We encourage players wishing to break alignment arcs to journal their characters' experiences that lead up to it.

Character Build

Purebloods were described as human-like but with minor reptilian features, such as snake-like eyes, a forked tongue, and patches of scales on their skin.

Roleplay Redux Racial Abilities:

Yuan-ti Purebloods are granted the "Poison Spray" racial ability. You spray a cloud of noxious poison on your target, dealing damage that ignores physical resistance.
