Minotaurs

Description

The minotaurs of Thuria are giant, bull-like humanoids and strike fear into the hearts of many. They are carnivorous hunters, preferring the flesh of humans to that of other creatures. Though not very intelligent, they are incredibly cunning adversaries who possess an uncanny sense of direction, making them adapt at exploring the mazes and caverns of their homes, which they often lure their prey into. A notable number of minotaur can be found within the Labyrinth of the Underdark.
Though strong and capable, minotaurs are solo hunters and typically do not have the safety of a group to rely upon. This, coupled with the fact that they worship a demonic deity, makes them a large target of slaughter and slavery. Some even prefer to capture minotaurs and hunt them in groups to repay them in kind for their own practices. Whatever the outcome, the relationship between minotaurs and other humanoid races is incredibly strained and usually doesn’t end well.
Minotaurs are considered to have a barbaric culture, and were once thought to have been cursed by the deity that they worship to be human men turned into the bull-like creatures that they are now. The recent sightings of female minotaurs has proved that idea to be false.

When creating a Minotaur, their alignment falls within Lawful Neutral to Chaotic Evil. We encourage players wishing to break alignment arcs to journal their characters' experiences that lead up to it.

Character Build

Minotaurs are tall and muscular, covered in fur and possessing bull-like features. Their legs are digitigrade and end with cloven hooves, and they carry large horns atop their head. They have bull’s tails and ears, and come in a variety of natural colors.
Height Minimum = 220cm(7'2")
Height Maximum = 250cm(8'2")

Roleplay Redux Racial Abilities:

• Minotaurs are granted the racial ability "Goring Rush". You may charge at a far away target and strike them with your horns for damage.
