The Constuction of fools Bargain

This is an attempt to construct a detailed history of the city being built it was written after the completion only because during its assembly everyone was busy. After the event that brought magic to the world the collective group of all the nearby nations chose a spot in an emerald green prairie. Next to a river that would bifurcate the city, with loose soil and many precious stones in the river, and finally a discovery of Iron Grass, a grassy plant with the strength and hardness of our best steal.
The stones where found to house elemental spirits, this would prove to be the start of boons affording the settlement to embrace the new world.
To some peoples initial shock the first thing that happened was a group of scholars tried to understand the fundamentals of magic and how they could use it. During this time the people had set up tents for housing, a temporary living arrangement but one that did what it needed to.
After some preliminary planning the first wizard was born, Jerald the First Wizard came as a surprise not because of his magic. But because the people thought he was going to die. The process to understand magic like this turned out to be very painful, the new wizards tend to scream a lot. This process also makes their eyes glow and turns their hair and fingernails silver with smoke coming from those two areas.
The people started to build houses out of Iron Grass, stone and the elemental spirit gems adorning them. After construction began a young boy discovered that those gems had living creatures inside of them and tried their best to communicate with them.
While this was happening another young man named Dane, discovered the local land birds had a variety to them unnoticed before and that some responded to music. While some where trying to see these new birds, a grove was stumbled upon at night the flowers and trees in this grove would glow brightly in the moonlight.
Then a way to communicate with the elemental spirits was found and we discovered that they woke when magic came to the world incredibly similar to the Concepts. One late night a group of men sore a black rhino with red eyes that vanished as soon as the people who sore it looked away. Then a few days later during a town meeting Oliver Judicious also known as Ol Jud came forth and told the people his sight was returning it seemed that the people from Pallety were regaining the vision that they lost in the event that turned their eyes white.
During this some former nobles grew disgruntled at the community and decided to build their own town. Now the creation of the houses was done and with the adornment of the elemental stones the houses had a sort of guardian spirits. During a trip to the magical grove a cave was found and a young women convinced some local youths and led an expedition to explore the cave.
At this point the town was growing and now we needed a water-wheel so construction began making it from iron grass and water spirit stones. Seeing this some start to construct weapons, armor and tools out of the iron, these tools would be instrumental to the community. Both of these also outlined the need for farms to cultivate food and materials like the native plants Iron Grass.
One day a traveling cleric of Death the oldest Concept came to town and spoke of what the event was he then left as soon as he came. A few nights later the people awoke to see a mountain of indescribable size in the distance that had not been there the day before.
Then the younger townsfolk came back from the cave to tell the others it was a geode full of magical crystals. At this time the former nobles who bult their own settlement were becoming hostile. The towns people had bigger things to think about, a tower with an unnatural bird was found as well as a new tree in the magic grove that looked to be made of stone with crystal leaves and finally at the end of the week a rail care made by Ti-Fu rolled into the town.
A few weeks later almost as if by an act of the universe itself a huge storm came through and lightning stuck the nobles strong hold leaving all but one noble and some servants dead and in the strong holds place was a crater. The town then turned this crater into a lake attached to the river to catch and farm fish. With the creation of the lake the water-wheel run by the water spirits now complete the towns work became easier. Using the water-wheel the people powdered some of the crystals found in the cave and research on the applications of the powdered crystal began.
The last remaining noble then attempted to move into the tower of the unnatural bird and scare it off once he arrived he was taken into the sky by the wind and the people that went with him did not see him land. At this point maybe sparked by the thought of the unnatural bird the people stated to properly domesticate the native land birds around the area. The wizards and the town found a use for the cave crystals they seemed to make healing magic stronger and restored magical energy to people and items.

Another traveler came to the city and told the city folk about the in place of the city of Karady that vanished into nothing during the event was a new different city with strange people. Not to long after this traveler appeared a group calling themselves Karver’s came wishing to integrate with the city they where eight to ten feet tall and worked well with gems and stone, they were a kind people who said they awoke with their city in a new place and half destroyed, and so gladly accepting the offer of help on building u the city the people gladly accepted them.
The wizards now with the help of the Karvers built a defensive wall out of stone and the embedded with the magic crystals the wall they built was nigh indestructible. Just after this was finished they discovered some of the fish in the lake where dyeing and they discovered that the river was now tainted.
One day when traversing the magical grove, the stone and crystal tree had developed a drop of dew suspended from one of the leaves. While some tried to speculate at the tree and its dew the rest of the city put their efforts to building a medical center and hospital. Then during a town discussion Ol Jud said leaving and that he had a vision of the temple of Death and hopes it still stands. Seeing the dead fish, the water spirits begin trying to help and heal the fish and remove the taint from the river. During this the new medical center helped the town by sending medical supplies to in need areas and areas of work where it would be useful to have medical supplies.
At this point one of the water spirits died of the water taint while trying to help. However at the same time the harvest from the farms flourished and the people found a use for the powdered crystals, when heated they can be turned into metal and used as material.
When the taint stated a group went out to find the source now with their return, we know the source and the water spirits where able to solve the problem. In the mountain that appeared one day a group of dwarves had been found and they did not know the community existed so they had been dumping their refuse in the river.
When one problem is solved another arises a group of short bandits tried attacking and farms and town they called themselves goblins and rumors about them being led by the last noble whom the goblins had dubbed the tall man had stated to spread. These rumors later turned out to be true when someone saw him giving commands to the goblins and treating them badly.
Another discovery at this time came from the west a door leading underground had been found and has remained unexplored for some time now. This discovery did however spark the creation of the explorers guild a place created for the purpose of discovering the rest of the world and how magic has affected it.
A mycologist from the city studying the river mushrooms told the inhabitants of the city that they could be grown to the size of trees and could be used as a very potent medicine. A small contingent went to the mountains at this time to try and increase relations with the dwarves unbeknownst to the city and the group the dwarves where doing the exact same thing.
The community at this point had, had enough of the goblins and went on the offensive. Perhaps not the best time because after they left a tornado struck the city and killed many. This tornado however brought forth the idea to build cellars and underground storage.
To the shock of the city the group trying to increase relations with the dwarves returned early along with some of the dwarves wishing to migrate. These Dwarves made the underground construction faster and easier and suggested that they and the town build a layered city going beneath the ground and with the help of the dwarves and the spirits the city began to expand underground.
Dane Feather-Song who led the charge against the goblins returns victorious and with the goblins as friends they entered the city together. Unfortunately, the Tall Man had escaped. With so many people in the city the system of representatives was created each chosen by their community to represent the needs and wants of that community to the city.
A Dwarven smith then suggested they connect the city and the Dwarven city beneath the mountain together by an underground road. While construction on this happened a new disease spread throughout the city it effected the old and week and caused weakness and still born children, nobody has discovered a way to cure it completely. Then a doctor had a vision of a black rhino and became a cleric to help the people with this disease, they could not take care of everyone.
The door to the underground to the west of the city opened and a cool wind spread through out the city relieving some pain from the people with the disease it also gave the elemental spirits physical bodies made from stone, metal, grass and other materials seeing this some other elemental spirits enter cave lizards, and morphing into bipedal humanoid lizards that stand at two to three feet tall.
With the wizards help the, the Karvers and Dwarves finished the deep road to the Dwarven city. Not to long after Ol Jud Returned from the temple saying it survived the event and now acted as a vault for dangerous magical items and secrets.
This wizards thought it time they created a university for magic and so they started to build a tower going down into the layers of the city and eventually up to the surface giving it a deceptive stature to those only aware of the short three story tower on the surface.
Upon its completion the city breathed a collective sigh of relief for the city finally had what it set out to do.
And then the mountain cracked.
