Sudon's Scale

When one looks into the mirror like scale they will be transported into the past, present, or future to see events during that time. This can be incredibly taxing on people and the knowledge has made unworthy people go mad. Generally the only ones to look into this mirror are the holy and faithful of Sudon or high powered wizards anyone else generally goes insane.
Significance
There are multiple scales in existence, however, none of these scales have ever been sold. Only 3 have ever been confirmed to exist at the same time. One is now owned by the church of Sudon in the Duchesses Crown (status unknown since the attack), one was stolen by the Arcanum Council from the Scholastic Academy, and one was held by the Draconic Federation but is now lost. No others are known to exist. According to legend these are the scales of the Gold Dragon god Sudon. One side is a golden scales and the other a mirror. There are two stories as to how these items came to be. The first is that when Mayim killed Sudon and the other lovers she took the hide of the golden dragon to make armor for her faithful Archpaladin, these scales are what fell off of that work. The second is that three times throughout history Sudon saw great need in his people so he broke off a scale and gave it to a chosen one. This was viewed as the highest honor one could be given, even more honorable than being a high priest.
