Giants

General

Giants and dragons were the first intelligent races created by the gods. Vulcan gave life to ten dragons. Giving each of them different skills and powers. Mayim the Queen of Hell saw this as a slight so she created the giants. She created even sub races - storm, cloud, fire, frost, stone, hill, and lesser - giving each one a purpose within the Ordaining. Each of these sub races shares a common base language and culture with the others, however, past those basic similarities they differ wildly. Each sub race of giant believes that it is the best and deserves to be in charge of all other giants. There are few giants who care about 'small folk' (the name given to any non giant or dragon). One of the most central ideals that all giants share is their hatred of dragons. Dragons and giants have been locked in an eternal war since their creation.

Culture

Major language groups and dialects

The general language that all giants speak is known simply as Giant. Each sub race has their own dialect, however, even when speaking in their dialect they can understand each other. While no giant speaks 'Giant' or the original language they each claim that their own dialect is the original one while the rest are simply wrong.
